Lyndae Mays looks at how the job-seekers are using their online career to help them find their place.

Lyndsay Mays: Job-seekers have always found that online has a way of giving them more control over their careers.
Lyndia says: It’s a really interesting opportunity to take a career-seeking approach and then to get in there and have a real relationship with the employers that you’re working for.
Lyndays advice is geared towards young people who are seeking a career in a new field, and Lynda has a range of skills to offer.
Lynday says: I think it’s really important that young people learn about the different aspects of careers and how to apply those skills in different fields and that you don’t feel like you’re wasting your time doing something that’s not relevant to what you’re doing.
Lyndaid says: If you’re trying to be a designer or an artist or a software developer, it’s not really something that you can just get a degree for, you’re going to have to learn a lot of different things.
Lyndas experience working in the software industry is that she often found herself having to reinvent her skills for the new industry.
Lynds advice is all about giving the right tools to people who need to be able to learn more about the field of their choice.
Lyndalya Mews: I’m a designer and I like to work in the design and the digital arts and digital media.
Lyndes advice is designed to give designers the confidence to start working in a career that they really enjoy.
Lyndaeda says: We also need to have a strong understanding of what our target audience is looking for in their career.
Lyndiyas advice is also about being able to have the confidence that you’ve got a portfolio and that’s what you want to work on.
Lyndys advice is about creating a career path that you enjoy, that you know you’re capable of, that’s something you’re good at.

I was trying to make money, and I was struggling with money.
